Meet Our Principal Event Designer
A charismatic leader, dynamic visionary and chronic dreamer, Letitia D. Winston is the creative genius behind A. Jewell Affair, formerly known as “Uniquely Created With Purpose.” With a background in project management and more than 14 years of experience in professional event planning, Letitia has successfully built a business from the ground up that leverages her exceptional aesthetic aptitude, strong organizational management skills and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. She has successfully designed and executed more than 25 events to-date, including baby showers, weddings, intimate gatherings and birthday celebrations.
Letitia is passionate about the power of gathering as a driver of connection and belonging, and is known for her ability to create unforgettable experiences that wow, encourage and inspire. At her core, it is not event planning that she loves most – it is and has always been people. It is this commitment to capture the human experience that enables her to catch and execute her clients’ vision so keenly, and keeps them returning time and time again.
A lifelong learner, Letitia received her undergraduate degree from Morgan State University and her Master’s degree from Howard University. She strongly believes in giving back to her local community and is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

While we could have done a virtual call, she made a trip to South Carolina to meet with my decorator and made sure everything was just as I envisioned. I had a wonderful wedding/bridal experience working with A. Jewell Affair. Letitia and her team were very professional, diligent, and their work was amazing.
